Please read our Booking Terms / General Conditions carefully. By reserving one or more rooms, you automatically agree to our terms.
Contract Agreement
By making a reservation, either as a guest or as a representative of a group (such as a travel agency), and its confirmation by Landhaus Meine Auszeit, a legally binding contract is formed, hereinafter referred to as the guest accommodation agreement.
This agreement regulates mutual rights and obligations and, as with all contracts, can only be cancelled with the consent of both parties. Upon formation, the following rights and obligations apply:
The guest accommodation agreement is final as soon as the room is reserved by you (whether orally, in writing, or electronically) and confirmed by Landhaus Meine Auszeit via email.
It is also final if a confirmation by email or post is not possible due to short notice, but a room is still reserved and prepared for you.
Both parties are obliged to fulfil the contract for the agreed duration.
Landhaus Meine Auszeit commits to offer compensation or an equivalent room if the reserved room cannot be provided.
If it is reasonably likely that the guest will not claim the room on the agreed arrival date, Landhaus Meine Auszeit reserves the right to rent it to others to avoid vacancy. Until this happens, the guest is still liable for payment as in case of cancellation.
Deposit Upon Reservation
25% of the total accommodation price, which includes:
- Room rate per person per night
- Additional purchases during booking
- Tourist tax
Tourist tax is not included in this amount and must be paid at the end of your stay.
Deposit is to be made via bank transfer within 7 days of the reservation. You may also choose to pay the full amount at once.
Final Payment
The remaining 75% must be paid by bank transfer no later than 8 days before arrival.
Tourist Tax (Kurbeitrag)
Prices are exclusive of tourist tax. This mandatory fee must be paid on-site at the end of your stay.
Payment Without Prior Reservation
If staying without a reservation, the total accommodation cost and any optional extras must be paid at the end of your stay. Landhaus Meine Auszeit reserves the right to request a 100% deposit upon arrival.
Cancellation Fees
Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email/fax). Fees apply as follows:
- 0% up to 60 days before arrival
- 25% between 60 and 28 days before arrival
- 50% between 28 and 14 days before arrival
- 80% if cancelled 14 days or less before arrival
These terms apply only for direct bookings (via website, phone, or email). If booked via third parties (e.g., booking.com), different terms may apply.
We strongly advise purchasing travel and cancellation insurance.
Arrival and Departure
Arrival and departure count as one day. Check-in is from 15:00 until 19:00. Check-out is by 10:00 on departure day.
No Refund for Early Departure
Landhaus Meine Auszeit does not offer refunds or discounts for early departures.
More Than Two Guests Per Room
All rooms are for a maximum of two guests. Exceptions: Comfort A room allows one extra bed for a child (12+) or an adult.
Children and Accommodation
The guesthouse is for guests aged 12 and above. No baby beds or facilities for younger children are available. Children under 12 may not sleep in the parents’ bed. Exception: Comfort A room allows one extra bed for a child (12+).
aktivCARD Bayerischer Wald & Other Activities
We are a participant of aktivCARD Bayerischer Wald, provided upon arrival. Many local services are included free of charge.
However, Landhaus Meine Auszeit assumes no liability for the organization or execution of these activities (e.g. AktivCARD, GUTi, Vitalzentrum).

- The aktivCARD is personal and non-transferable
- Valid throughout your stay
- Availability of services may be limited due to operational or weather conditions

Pets
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking
Landhaus Meine Auszeit is a non-smoking property. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is only allowed on your private balcony or terrace. Not on shared terraces. A €250 cleaning fee applies if the room is smoked in.
Liability for Wheelchair Users
The house is ground-floor and barrier-free, but it is on a slope.
Access is only possible by car. The driveway and path to the entrance are too steep for wheelchair users without a car.
We accept no liability for use of wheelchairs on our premises or elsewhere.
There is a TÜV-certified platform lift (max. 300 kg), usable at your own risk and only by guests who cannot use stairs.
General Liability
Use of the property, parking, stairs, and furnishings is at your own risk.
Guests are liable for damage caused during their stay. We are not liable for personal belongings (theft, fire, etc.).
We are not responsible for outages or malfunctions due to force majeure or internet/equipment failures.
Please report any defects immediately so we can resolve them.
Winter Maintenance
The Buchenweg is cleared daily during snowfall by the municipality.
We do our best to clear and salt our property, but due to the slope, this may not always be perfect.
You may use the provided materials to salt or clear snow.
We are not liable for damage or injury on the property.
Use of the property is at your own risk. Snow chains are recommended if parking on the slope.
Data Protection
Your personal data is used solely for your booking, tourist tax reporting, and email newsletter (optional).
You can unsubscribe at any time. We do not share data with third parties.

Exclusive jurisdiction is Viechtach. German law applies.
