Bodenmais

Bodenmais is a popular holiday resort in the Bavarian Forest and is known for its warm hospitality. Thanks to its location in a valley at an altitude of 689 metres and surrounded by gently sloping forested hills, Bodenmais, with its 3,560 inhabitants, offers an idyllic holiday atmosphere. Easy to reach

Bodenmais is easily accessible by car. From Utrecht, the distance is approximately 800 km. Bodenmais also has its own railway station and is therefore easy to reach by train. From Zwiesel, the Waldbahn runs to Bodenmais every hour. Another option is to fly to Munich (daily flights from Rotterdam and Amsterdam) and continue your journey from there, for example by rental car. The drive from Munich to Bodenmais takes about 1.5 hours.

Bodenmais is very well equipped to welcome guests. Visitors, for example, have free access to the brand-new Vital Centre. This is a unique concept in Germany, offering relaxation through sporting activities. Other facilities such as a modern tourist information centre, swimming pool, sauna complex, tennis courts and mini golf are also available.
